A HISTORY of COLLABORATION
The technology of CedarTech is developed in-house as well as duly licensed from that developed at
CEDAR. This technology has
been developed by over 300 researchers over a period of more than 20 years.
Incorporated in 1996, CedarTech provides software and systems solutions for the analysis and recognition of scanned document images. The state-of-the-art technology in handwriting analysis and recognition deployed by CedarTech was developed in-house at CedarTech as well as licensed from CEDAR, a university research organization at the University at Buffalo. The expertise of CedarTech spans a period of over 20 years in design and implementation of successful field-deployed document processing systems for several government organizations and corporations using the technology originally researched and developed at CEDAR.
CedarTech also has experience in maintaining software systems, e.g., a system developed for IRS was maintained for a seven-year life cycle of the product. CedarTech has also developed and delivered systems for electronic bill payment and presentment, address block location for sorting mail pieces for flats and magazines.
